Schools Adventure - Centre and Courses
OUR CENTRE
Set within 50 acres of private woodland, a short stroll from the beach and close to the lively yachting capital of Cowes, Gurnard Pines is the perfect destination for school groups.
The secure site is in a peaceful countryside setting with a wide variety of plants, trees and wildlife. Dappled shade peeps between the trees and a short walk away is a beach with breathtaking sunsets.
At Gurnard Pines we are able to provide our guests with some of the best centre based acommodation and activity facilities available to school groups travelling in the UK, together with top quality leisure facilities such as heated swimming pools, floodlit tennis courts and a fitness suite.
Accommodation
Within Gurnard Pines, In2action have a secure acommodation area, which is exclusive to our school groups. All groups are accommodated in comfortable, chalet style style accommodation sleeping up to 8 children. Accompanying teachers have adjacent spacious chalets. All our accommodation units have en suite facilities, heating and ample storage areas (necessary on school adventure trips).
Meals
Groups are provided with three meals per day. All meals are well balanced with vegetarian and special diet options available (written notice required for the latter). Before bedtime, all our guests will finish the day with a cup of hot chocolate.
Facilities
Gurnard Pines has a fantastic range of indoor and outdoor facilities for children and teachers. On request, teachers will be provided with an activity pass which gives them access to the top class gym and fitness suite. The facilities include:

· An outdoor heated swimming pool
· Floodlit tennis courts
· Children's playground
· Fitness suite - workout studio and gym
· Relaxing bar and brasserie area
· Dedicated teachers lounge
· Wireless Internet access
COURSES
At the heart of all our courses is an extensive range of nearly 40 Adventure Activities, all of which are delivered by our fully trained and qualified staff team.
Multi Activity
Schools can choose to enjoy a multi activity course, where an action packed programme of activities are provided both morning and afternoon, along with a lively evening entertainments programme.
Adventure Visits
Alternatively, many schools combine activities with visits to one or more of the excellent educational attractions on the Isle of Wight. In addition some schools also take advantage of their visit to Portsmouth (Ferry Port) and arrange to visit attractions such as the historic Portsmouth Dockyard or D-Day Museum.

PROMOTING YOUR VISIT
When you book with In2action, we understand that promoting your trip to parents and children is very important. We will therefore send you an informative powerpoint presentation, which can be used to promote the visit in the best possible way. We will also send you a sample letter to parents to save you time when communicating with parents about the forthcoming trip.
PERSONAL SERVICE
Our personal approach and tailor made service means that we work closely with you to design and plan the course that suits you best – even down to your choice of activities. If you wish to combine activities with visits we’ll advise you of the costs involved (entry fees, coach travel, etc are not included in our basic price) and then make all the appropriate arrangements.
